Because the use of ultrasound is spreading into every corner of medicine we thought it's high time to try to bundle all informations into a more comprehensive idea.

That's why we organized a 1-day symposium on the 1st of November 2014 with renowned speakers from different hospitals in the Netherlands. The idea was to take you on a tour about the use of acute ultrasound for heart, lungs, abdomen and skeletal tissues, as well as using ultrasound for placing lines and nerve blocks. And because it is always exciting to see beyond our horizon(s), we managed to get hold of a veterinarian who will tell us more about ultrasound and animals!

So we think that this is a 'first' in the Netherlands, and our intention is to establish this meeting as the most important place to meet people from all corners of medicine who share your passion.

The symposium was accredited with 6 CME points by the dutch Accreditatie Bureau Algemene Nascholing (ABAN).
